No Change is a short docu-drama based on the real-life experiences of ex-rough sleeper Andrew Fraser and, more specifically, his book ‘Invisible’ which is available from Freedom Press. The director interviewed Andrew and built the film from his vivid descriptions of life on the streets, as he recounts specific interactions with the public, as well as his thoughts and philosophies on the issue.

The film was not only filmed in part during a major storm, it was also done on a short schedule and with a very limted budget. Members of the crew pooled their resources and equipment to make it happen. From a cinematography perspective, the director wanted an observational feel without the film becoming too dull, and there were many technically difficult camera moves and lighting situations.
